Nikolaos Tsafas received the Diploma degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering and a MSc in Integrated Hardware and Software Systems from the Department of Computer Engineering and Informatics of the University of Patras Greece, in 2017 and  2020 respectively. Since 2018, he has been a Researcher with the Applied Electronics Laboratory of the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department at the University of Patras as well as a Collaborating Researcher in the Industrial Systems Institute of ATHENA Research and Innovation Center, Greece while engaging in national and European research projects.

His main scientific interests involve hardware acceleration, system on chip implementations for machine learning applications and embedded systems design for wearable, Industrial IoT applications and digital twins.
