AE4RIA at the Regional Growth Conference 2025 – Highlights from a Week of Impactful Dialogue!
This week, (12-14 May 2025), AE4RIA - Alliance of Excellence for Research and Innovation on Αephoria researchers from Resees, Research Laboratory AUEB – Athens University of Economics and Business, and the Sustainable Development Unit - ATHENA RC actively participated in the Regional Growth Conference 2025, contributing to vital discussions on sustainable regional development, climate resilience, and the green transition.
Dr. Theofanis Zacharatos, PhD, Dr. Theo Benos, and Dr. Dr. Foivos Papadimitriou engaged in key sessions exploring the productive interplay between public and private sectors, the future of food systems, and the evolving prospects of the primary sector. Their joint presentation on Agroforestry Land Use and Natural Landscapes emphasized the value of nature-based solutions and integrated policy tools for inclusive, resilient development.
Through these contributions, AE4RIA reaffirmed its commitment to advancing evidence-based strategies that connect research, policy, and practice — building a more sustainable and equitable future.
