EOSC Tripartite event | Greece

“Athena” Research Center and the National Infrastructures for Research and Technology (GRNET S.A.) co-organize on October 6th, 2022 at 09:30 a.m. (EET) the 1st Tripartite Meeting of the European Open Science Cloud in Greece (EOSC tripartite event/Greece).
The meeting is part of a wider pan-european initiative, part of the framework of co-shaping the future of EOSC which is a strategic priority of the European Research Sector and follows the example of a series of tripartite meetings which take place all over Europe.
The aim of the meeting is to introduce the main EOSC contributors (EOSC Association, European Commission, EOSC Steering Board), with representatives from the national scientific community (politicians, research funding organisations, research, technology advancement and innovation organisations, e.t.c.), in order to start a meaningful debate regarding Greece’s participation in EOSC, a policy for Open Science, the role of the national scientific infrastructures and the adoption of Open Science practices in Greece.
Ministries of Development and Investment, Education and Digital Governance, representatives of the European Committee,will be present at the meeting together with key members of the EOSC Organisation (EOSC-Association), the Hellenic Open Science Initiative (HOSI), national representatives in EOSC Steering Board (SB). Invited to attend are key representatives of EOSC associated research and academic projects and members of the Open Science community of the country.
Participation at the event is by invitation. The meeting will be available to watch online via DIAVLOS GRNET’s Livestream channel.
