The Sustainable Development Unit (SDU - AE4RIA) of Athena Research Center, together with the Athens University of Economics and Business, Panteion University, the EU Bioeconomy Youth Ambassadors, and Snappi, is co-organising Climathon Athens 2026, taking place on 1 - 2 October 2026 at the Snappi Hub (Korai 5, Athens), with the option for online participation.

As part of the global Climathon initiative, the two-day ideathon will bring together students, researchers, entrepreneurs, public authorities, and citizens to work collaboratively on real-world local climate challenges. With the guidance of experts and mentors, participants will develop practical and innovative ideas aimed at supporting more resilient, sustainable, and climate-neutral cities and communities.
