On the occasion of Posidonia 2022, the National Technical University of Athens, organizes a special event dedicated to "The initiatives of NTUA for technology transfer and promotion of innovation and entrepreneurship", on Wednesday, 8 June 2022. "Athena" Reasearch Center participates in the event as founding member of SCIENCE AGORA, the new Central Technology Transfer Hub, with the talk of Prof. Ioannis Emiris, President and General Director, at 11:30, during the session "Science Agora: A new technology transfer hub".

National Technical University of Athens and the Athens University of Economics and Business as well as three leading Research Institutes, the National Centre for Scientific Research “Demokritos”, "Athena" Research Center and the Institute of Communication and Computer Systems of NTUA collaborated for the establishment of the new Central Technology Transfer Hub SCIENCE AGORA - Innovation to Society. Through their networking they aspire to create one of the largest integrated ecosystems for the exploitation of scientific research in Europe.

Posidonia 2022 take place at Athens Metropolitan Expo, from 6 to 10 June 2022.
