Athena RC is thrilled to announce the organization of the Falling Walls Lab Greece for second time in collaboration with SciCo, inviting talented students, researchers and early-career professionals to present their innovative ideas, within 3 minutes!
 

Those selected are given the opportunity to present their solutions to some of the most pressing challenges of our time to peers, a jury of experts from academia and business, and the general public. The target? To claim the first place in the Greek final taking place on 5 September, leading them to the Falling Walls Lab Finale, which takes place in Berlin on 7 November 2022 and a ticket to the Falling Walls Conference (7-9 November 2022).
 

At the global finale, the 100 finalists from all over the world are invited to convince a high-calibre jury about the solutions they propose, and to claim the title “Breakthrough Winner” in the Emerging Talents category of Falling Walls, taking home the title and prize money, and receiving the opportunity to pitch their idea once again on the grand stage of the Falling Walls Conference.

Falling Walls Lab is a world-class pitch competition, networking forum, and stepping stone that brings together a diverse and interdisciplinary pool of students and early-career professionals by providing a stage for breakthrough ideas both globally and locally. With multifaceted formats supports participants in driving their innovations and develop their communication skills, fostering collaboration and creating a space for an impactful and sustainable community to thrive.

Falling Walls Lab is organised by the Falling Walls Foundation and generously funded by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF), the Berlin-Senate, Google, and Huawei. It is supported by the Federal Foreign Office of Germany and the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD).
