The Athena Research Center is set to participate in the multidisciplinary scientific festival taking place in Kastellorizo from October 11 to 13. For the fourth consecutive year, the island will host a unique collection of scientific events, exhibitions, and workshops that blend science with art, focusing on puzzles and the discovery of knowledge.
Academics, scientists, and artists will come together to share their knowledge and experience with attendees.
Vasilis Katsouros, Research Director and Director of Institute for Language and Speech Processing at Athena, will present a talk titled
“Engaging Students: Transforming Education through the Power of Generative Artificial Intelligence”. In his presentation, he will highlight the transformative impact of artificial intelligence on the educational process, advocating for a more creative and personalized approach to learning. The festival is organized under the auspices and support of various ministries and is co-hosted by the South Aegean Region and the Municipality of Megisti. The festival program features a variety of activities covering fields such as Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Robotics, and Artificial Intelligence.
