Dr. George Moustris received his diploma in Electrical & Computer Engineering from the School of ECE/AUTH (2003) and his PhD in Automatic Control and Robotics from the School of ECE/NTUA (2010). From 2011 he worked as a post-doctoral researcher at the Robotics & Automation Laboratory of ECE/NTUA, while from 2019-2024 he also served as Principal Researcher at the Institute of Communication & Computer Systems of the National Technical University of Athens. He has conducted research in the fields of artificial intelligence, robotics, haptic systems and automatic control, has participated in over 20 national and international research projects and has published over 30 original papers in scientific journals and international conferences. He has served as a reviewer in more than 50 scientific journals and conferences, where he has also been a member of various scientific committees. His research interests focus on robotic surgery and healthcare robotics.
