The presentation took place on June 2, 2025, delivered by Farhan Sahito, representative of project partner Privanova, who highlighted critical gaps in international cooperation in the fight against organized crime. The presentation emphasized the urgent need for enhanced mutual trust, harmonized legal frameworks, and interoperable tools that enable law enforcement agencies to detect and effectively respond to criminal activities — especially those involving virtual currencies.
SafeHorizon focuses on studying and countering the phenomenon of Crime-as-a-Service (CaaS). Its multidimensional approach makes the project a highly valuable contribution to policymaking at both the European and international level.
