MEDNIGHT is Back! – The Mediterranean Night of Science and People!

Friday, September 26, 2025 | Kimmeria Campus, Athena Research Center, Xanthi

29-07-2025

Following last year’s vibrant success, the Mediterranean Researchers’ Night MEDNIGHT returns to Xanthi for a second consecutive year on Friday, September 26, 2025, inviting visitors of all ages to explore science, technology, and creative curiosity.

MEDNIGHT is a European celebration of science focused on the Mediterranean region. It brings the public closer to researchers and innovative technologies through workshops, hands-on experiments, presentations, and interactive activities. With a special emphasis on the role of women in research and the idea of science as part of the shared identity of Mediterranean people, MEDNIGHT inspires new generations to engage with knowledge and discovery.

As in 2024, activities will take place both at the Athena Research Center campus in Kimmeria and in the city center of Xanthi, through pre-events and open labs.

The full program and all event details will be announced in the coming weeks.

Until then, save the date: Friday, September 26!

Stay tuned for more.
