The new edition of "The Tales from Mednight" has been released

The Athena Research Center, as an active member of the Mednight initiative, is thrilled to announce the release of the Greek edition of the book “The Tales from Mednight – Junior Edition”. This exciting new book introduces children under the age of 12 to the marvels of science. The collection features the stories of the winners of the 4th Literary Contest “The Tales from Mednight”, a transnational competition celebrating the intersection of creativity and science.
This year’s competition attracted 99 entries from across the Mediterranean, with 85 stories meeting the eligibility criteria. From this impressive collection, 11 stories for children and 14 stories for the general public were selected as winners by a panel of expert judges.
The winning entries, written in seven languages (Arabic, English, French, Greek, Italian, Spanish, and Turkish), showcase the vibrant diversity of Mediterranean cultures and their shared connection to science. These stories explore topics ranging from biodiversity and clean energy to Mediterranean history and environmental management, inspiring readers of all ages to discover the wonders of science.
