The Athena Research Center, through its Women ‘s Innovation Unit and the Archimedes Unit, is organizing for the second consecutive year the Bebras® (Beaver) Student Competition in Informatics and Computational Thinking in Greece, under the auspices of the General Secretariat for Research and Innovation.The competition is co-organized by the Institute of Educational Policy, with the support of the Learning Technology and Educational Engineering Laboratory of the University of the Aegean, the Open Technologies Alliance (GFOSS), and other important organizations.
The international Bebras® competition aims to introduce students to the world of Computational Thinking through fun problems and creative challenges related to Informatics.In Greece, the competition will take place from November 10 to November 21, 2025, across all levels of Primary and Secondary Education, both public and private.School and student registrations will remain open until Friday, November 7, 2025.To view the detailed registration steps, please carefully read the Coordinator’s Manual. The manual, along with all other available documents, has been updated for the 2025–2026 competition.Registrations are submitted through the following platform and are manually reviewed before being approved:
