Ranking 6th nationally in Horizon Europe funding, with 198 active projects and over 340 scientific publications, Athena has shaped a new framework for growth.
The Center’s human capital grew by 26%, surpassing 900 members, including more than 200 PhD candidates and postgraduate students, thus reinforcing the link between research and education and contributing to reversing the brain drain.
Athena’s mission remains steadfast: to promote excellence in digital science and innovation, to create solutions that serve society, and to help shape a sustainable, open, and responsible digital future.
