18-11-2024

The Student Competition in Informatics and Computational Thinking Bebras® GR 2024-2025 was successfully completed with impressive participation from schools across the country! The Athena Research Center, the Innovation Unit for Women, Archimedes Unit, and the Institute of Educational Policy (IEP), under the auspices of the General Secretariat for Research and Innovation (GSRI), organized the 3rd student competition in Greece, held from November 4 to November 15, 2024. More than 28,000 students participated!

Students from all grades of primary, middle, and high schools nationwide had the opportunity to compete in fun and engaging informatics and computational thinking challenges of varying difficulty levels. The goal of the competition was to encourage students, in collaboration with their teacher-coordinators, to explore the fascinating world of Computational Thinking and familiarize themselves with concepts and practices in Informatics through problem-solving.

The successful organization of the competition was made possible through the collaboration of prominent scientists, educational associations, and a large number of selected volunteers.
