The outcomes of two ILSP projects won GOLD and BRONZE awards in one of the most prestigious technological innovation competitions in Greece, the DEI BITE Awards.
The GOLD medal in “Tourism / Culture” was awarded to myELeusis for the successful application of augmented and virtual reality technologies and the creation of a rich and comprehensive virtual visit experience to the archaeological site and museum of Eleusis. Representatives from the Ephorate of Antiquities of West Attica, the Research Centre Athena, the cultural production and management company MENTOR, and the telecommunications and IT company CITE - implementing bodies of the research project, attended the awarding ceremony of the most important awarding institution for technological innovation in Greece, which was held under the auspices of the Hellenic Ministry of Digital Governance and the Federation of Hellenic ICT Enterprises, on Wednesday, September 20.
Plan-V won the BRONZE prize in the “Health” category. The project delivered an integrated platform for technology-assisted speech therapy intervention for people with chronic neurogenic speech and language disorders. Plan-V’s virtual speech therapist (Avatar) allows patients to practice at their own time and pace, without the need for requiring the presence of a physical speech therapist.
