Election of Prof. Phoebe Koundouri to the Communication, Education and Outreach Committee of the InterAcademy Partnership (IAP)
Prof. Phoebe Koundouri has been elected to the Communication, Education and Outreach Committee of the InterAcademy Partnership (IAP), the global network comprising 153 science academies.
This election reflects her longstanding commitment to advancing the interface between science, policy, and society. Prof. Koundouri’s research and professional activities focus on integrating quantitative tools, systems analysis, and policy design to strengthen sustainability science and to generate evidence-based solutions to complex environmental and societal challenges.
Her three-year term will commence in December 2025 at the IAP General Assembly in Cairo, Egypt, where she will contribute to the Partnership’s mission of promoting scientific excellence, knowledge exchange, and global collaboration.
