Dimitrios Kotsinis

Adjunct Researchers
Institute of Robotics

Dimitris Kotsinis is a PhD candidate in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Patras, working on the Multi-Agent Motion Planning problem. Specifically, he is working on the optimal navigation of moving agents to their desired targets through reinforcement learning methods. Moreover, he is collaborating as a researcher with the ATHENA Research Center on the project "Autonomous Exploration with Heterogeneous Robotic Vehicles". He received his integrated master’s degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Patras in 2023.

His research interests include:

  • The field of robotics, specifically in multi-agent motion planning for optimal navigation to a desired target using reinforcement learning methods.
  • In autonomous exploration of unknown environments with the help of aerial and ground robotic systems.

In the optimization of control policies for nonlinear systems using reinforcement learning methods.
