Paris Oikonomou received his MEng degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from NTUA in October 2016. Since November of the same year, he has been working as a research assistant within the Intelligent Robotics and Automation Lab (IRAL) of NTUA, participating in several EU HORIZON projects (e.g., I-SUPPORT, SoftGrip). His research interests and expertise include motion prediction and planning, decision making and control of autonomous systems using robot learning methods with application to human/environment-robot interaction and soft robotics, while he has contributed in developing object's surface reconstruction methods applied in the area of telerobotics and haptic systems. He has been a member of the Technical Chamber of Greece since 2017.
