Paraskevi Motsiou graduated in 2012 from the Faculty of History and Archeology of National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. She also holds an MA and currently is a PhD student in Classical Archaeology in NKUA, with the subject of: “Hydriskai from Abdera: Contribution in the study of miniature pottery in Thrace and northeast Aegean from the archaic to the Hellenistic period”. Furthermore, she is a grant-holder of the Academy of Athens.

She has participated in many Greek and foreign university excavations and surveys. From 2018 she has taken on the study and publication of the excavation material of the Amphipolis Thesmophorion and the kiln next to it. Also, from 2019 she is a researcher in the APAX (Archaeological Program Abdera and Xanthi) and from 2020 a researcher in the excavation program of Amphipolis kilns, both supervised by NKUA. Lastly, she has worked in several programs in digital archaeology.
