Panagiotis Karioris has graduated from the department of History and Archaeology of the University of Athens. He received his Master of Arts in Greek Archaeology from the University of Birmingham, England, in 1995. In 2004 he received a post-graduate degree in Language Technology, from the University of Athens.
 
He has been working for ILSP / R.C. "Athena" since 1998. He has been a researcher in the project ‘Sappho’, a presentation of the history and culture of the Greek islands, and ‘Penelope’, methods of teaching the ancient Greek language and civilization in High School students. He attended the international conference: LREC2000 Language Resources and Evaluation Conference and the seminar ‘Linguistic Education in Information Society’. His work experience includes archaeological excavations and researching on the Cyclades for the Ministry of Culture, as well as teaching History of Art in public Vocational Institutes and Colleges.
