T. Goulas obtained his Degree in Electrical Engineering with specialization in Biomedical Engineering and informatics from the Technical University of Ilmenau, Germany. Theo Goulas by following a special course of study, obtained a qualification in radiation protection.

He has been associated with ILSP/ Athena RC since 2007, with participations to following EU research projects: VEMUS (www.vemus.org), DictaSign (www.DictaSign.eu).

He is a member of the Technical Chamber of Greece since 2005 and member of the German association for Electrical, Electronic and Information Technologies (VDE – www.vde.de) since 2004.
