Reproducibility of research results is essential for maintaining both trust in scientific processes, as well as improving efficiency in the research sector. In the post-pandemic period, it has become increasingly important. In this context, the EU-funded TIER2 project will explore issues that limit reproducibility across three broad research areas and among two cross-disciplinary stakeholder groups. It will also develop models and techniques and new tools to enhance reproducibility. The project’s overall aim is to boost knowledge on reproducibility, create tools, engage communities, implement interventions and policy across different contexts to increase re-use and overall quality of research results in the European Research Area and global R&I, and consequently increase trust, integrity and efficiency in research.
