Creating a Robust Accessible Federated Technology for Open Access

Open access (OA) models are revolutionising today’s scholarly communication and collaboration. They are eliminating costs and lifting physical barriers, granting open access to scientific data and research information. The online non-profit Diamond OA is among the most promising international academic platforms gathering a community of academics, policymakers and members of non- and for-profit organisations of high-quality research. However, Diamond OA needs technical and organisational support to develop its full potential. The EU-funded CRAFT-OA project will strengthen the Diamond OA by improving the technological bases of its platforms, software and infrastructure. It will make Diamond OA’s activities and results more discoverable and appreciated.
