Deputy Minister of Development Maximos Senetakis visited the facilities of Athena in Xanthi on Thursday, May 17, 2024. The President of Athena, Professor Yiannis Emiris, who had traveled to Xanthi for this purpose, welcomed the Deputy Minister in the presence of Director of the Institute for Language and Speech Processing at Athena, Vasilis Katsouros. and together they toured the facilities.
Mr. Senetakis, after being shown around the Athena Research Center, spoke with the staff and dedicated special time visiting the laboratories, where he had the opportunity to meet the researchers in person and be briefed on the latest technological developments.
It is worth noting that the day concluded with the signing of the programmatic agreement for the Athena building project in presence of Lazaros Tsatalbasidis, CEO of the Development Organization of Eastern Macedonia and Thrace.
