Athena Research Center continues its mission to inspire the next generation of female leaders in technology and contribute to creating a more equitable and innovative future, actively participating with the Innovation Unit for Women as a member of the EU Code Week consortium. As part of the initiative, the special "Girls in Digital Week" will be implemented, aiming to inspire and empower girls across Europe, encouraging them to explore the limitless opportunities that the digital world offers.
The event will take place from March 24 to 28, 2025, and will focus on promoting the importance of female representation in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) and digital technologies. The goal is to enhance inclusivity, innovation, and a better future for all by encouraging young girls to actively participate in shaping the future of technology.
Athena Research Center, in collaboration with its partner network, is committed to promoting gender equality and creating a more diverse digital ecosystem, where women and girls play a significant role in advancing technology.
