The conference emphasized culture as a shared asset and highlighted the importance of transparency, participation, and education.

Co-organized by the Athena Research Center, the Ephorate of Antiquities of Eastern Attica, the Hellenic Open University, and the University of West Attica, the conference showcased Greece’s dynamic and leading role in the global scientific dialogue on cultural heritage and digital innovation.
The Athena Research Center played an active role, presenting how the combined power of technology and archaeology can create new tools for the preservation and promotion of cultural heritage in sustainable and participatory ways.
