Τhe award ceremony for the Future of Database Programming Contest, organized on Friday, March 7, 2025, at St. George Lycabettus Hotel by the Athena Research Center in collaboration with Huawei, was successfully concluded, honoring the best and most innovative participants. The competition involved 60 teams and over 100 individuals. Participants had the opportunity to compete for significant prizes. The first prize was 9,000 euros, the second prize was 6,000 euros, and the third prize was 3,000 euros. Huawei, as a strategic partner, provided invaluable support through the sponsorship of the monetary prizes and scholarships for participation in the contest.

 

The winners were recognized for their outstanding performance and innovative solutions, while the award ceremony also featured engaging talks that provided valuable insights and stimuli for the participants. It offered excellent networking opportunities with industry professionals, company representatives, and other students. At the same time, participants had the chance to gain valuable knowledge from top experts in the field and showcase their talents by presenting their ideas and projects, leading to prospects for professional development.
