On Tuesday, May 20, 2025, the Session of the Special Permanent Committee on Research & Technology and the Standing Committee on Production & Trade of the Hellenic Parliament took place, focusing on the topic: "Research Centers Innovate."
Representatives of leading research and technology organizations from across the country participated in the session, including the Athena Research Center. Professor Yiannis Emiris, Chairman of the Board and General Director of Athena, presented the Center’s activities, research outcomes, and technological development and innovation strategies, highlighting the critical role scientific research plays in the national development strategy.
The session was coordinated by the Committee Chairman and Member of Parliament, Mr. Efstratios Simopoulos.
