Universal Networking Language

Since 1996, the UN has supported the project Universal Networking Language (UNL), which aims to develop a technically flexible multilingual Machine Translation System for WEB applications. After the first concrete results were obtained, UN created a group of cooperating institutions, called UNL Society, with about two hundred members all over the world. ILSP / R.C. "Athena" is a member of this group since 2001 and represents Greece and the Greek Language. Within this framework, ILSP / R.C. "Athena" has been developing generation software and participates in the project's meetings.
