Subproject 2 is primarily concerned with the applications of science and new technologies in understanding, documenting, certifying and promoting the cultural reserve. Its aim is to contribute to the emergence, management and exploitation of this reserve through processes that include both traditional methods (archaeological study) and modern applications of computational sciences and informatics. It covers the core of the Institute’s know-how and research activities in the field of Heritage Sciences, and includes networking actions and actions for the promotion and dissemination of the results
