The main aim of this project was to ensure equal education opportunities for provincial schools (especially distant, single-teacher schools) and urban schools. After the particularly successful pilot application of the "Logomathia" package in Karpathos, ILSP / R.C. "Athena" took on the task of providing and installing the necessary electronic equipment in 25 single-teacher schools in Greece. The project included the purchase of appropriate computers with multimedia capabilities (486, CD-ROM drive, sound card, ear-phones, UPS, etc.), their installation as well as installation of the educational software developed by ILSP / R.C. "Athena" for the teaching of the Greek language, teacher training, support and maintenance for the school year 1994-1995. The installation has already been completed with great success in single-teacher schools of Samos, Folegandros, Karpathos, Chalki, Kastelorizo, Ikaria, Syros, as well as in the distant schools of Xanthi, Komotini. The project was financed by the General Secretariat for Research and Technology.
