Ενδυνάμωση Αυτόνομων Εναέριων Συστημάτων μέσω Επιχειρησιακών Μεθόδων και Τεχνολογικών Βελτιώσεων
Advanced air mobility (AAM) is a rapidly emerging aerospace sector aiming to integrate highly automated aircraft as well as electric and hybrid aircraft, including using large intelligently coordinated drone systems for sustainable cargo transport. The EU-funded EUSOME project aims to energise AAM research and innovation (R&I) in Southeast Europe, addressing specific regional challenges. EUSOME’s consortium integrates expertise from research entities, aircraft manufacturers, civil aviation authorities, public agencies, technology transfer specialists and civil society. It will bring AAM to the forefront of transportation planning in the region with a R&I infrastructure, an action plan for adoption of the European Union Aviation Safety Agency’s recommendations on AAM, and a vibrant mentoring and training programme.
