In September 2025, the EOSC EU Node, Europe’s platform supporting international, interdisciplinary research by promoting the use of FAIR data and enabling the development of the federated EOSC platform took center stage in advancing Open Science through a series of key appearances at major European events.
The engagement began at the Open Science Fair 2025 and the OSCARS AAI & Composability hosted at CERN in Geneva, and continued at the French National Tripartite Event in Paris.
Through presentations, demonstrations, and discussions with researchers, funders, and service providers, the EOSC EU Node showcased its value as a unified and user-friendly gateway to services that support daily research activities from login using institutional credentials, to executing notebooks, storing data, and accessing resources in a transparent and GDPR-compliant manner.
Participants strongly endorsed the consolidation of services, shared ideas for further improvements, and emphasized the need for simpler documentation, stronger user support, and greater clarity regarding service usage and long-term sustainability.
