Dr Evangelos Haleplidis, received his diploma in Electrical Engineering from the University of Patras in 2002. He received his Ph.D. from the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering in the University of Patras in 2016 with the title Design, Model and implement Open Programmable Networks. He has taken part in the successful IST projects FlexiNET and IST Phosphorus. He is the main author of several RFCs, co-author of several drafts in the IETF’s ForCES working group and also has submitted as main author four individual internet draft submissions in regards to the ForCES architecture. He is one of the main editors in IRTF’s SDNRG RFC7426. His main field of interest is network protocols, modeling and modeling languages for abstractions and network services. He has around 12 publication in journals, conferences and book chapters related with his research interests. He is currently employed at the University of Piraeus as a Laboratory Teaching Staff in the Department of Digital Systems.
