Paris Kitsos is Associate Professor at Technological Educational Institute of Western Greece and Collaborating Faculty in Industrial Systems Institute (ISI). He has participated in seven national and three international research projects in his area as researcher, designer and programmer. He has published more than 80  scientific articles and book chapters, and he has been received more than 750 non self-citations. Also, he was Co-editor to the books: “RFID Security: Techniques, Protocols and System-On-Chip Design”, Springer-USA, “Security in RFID and Wireless Sensor Networks”, Auerbach Publications and "System-Level Design Methodologies for Telecommunication", Springer-USA. Dr. Kitsos serves as an Associate Editor for the IEEE Systems Journal and for the Microprocessors and Microsystems: Embedded Hardware Design (MICPRO). He was Track Co-chair in “The 4th International Conference on ReConFigurable Computing and FPGA’s, ReConFig’ 08”, also he was General Local Chair in “12th Euromicro Conference on Digital System Design, Architectures, Methods and Tools – DSD 2009”, he was Deputy Program Chair in “13th Euromicro Conference on Digital System Design, Architectures, Methods and Tools – DSD 2010”, he was Program Chairman in “14th Euromicro Conference on Digital System Design, Architectures, Methods and Tools – DSD 2011” and finally is Program co chairman in “17th Euromicro Conference on Digital System Design, Architectures, Methods and Tools – DSD 2011”. Also, has been Guest Editor of Special Issues for Elsevier, Springer and Wiley publishers. Further, he has participated to the organization of up to 100 conferences as Local Chair, Publicity, Program Chair and Program Committee member. In addition, he is reviewer for numerous International Journals and Conferences/Workshops in the area of his research. Finally, his teaching activities are sponsored by Intel and Xilinx.
