Prof. Konstantinos Daskalakis was invited to speak at the Industrial Systems Institute of the "Athena" Research Center on Thursday, June 29, 2023. Prof. Daskalakis delivered a speech titled "Equilibria, Non-Convexity & Deep Learning," which was attended by a large number of representatives from the academic, research, and business communities. Among the audience were professors from the Universities of Patras and Peloponnese, researchers, and representatives from research organizations in the broader region, employees of companies at the Technological Park of Patras, doctoral candidates, as well as postgraduate and undergraduate students.
In the packed event hall of the Patras Science Park, Mr. Daskalakis had the opportunity to address topics related to equilibria and non-convexity concerning deep learning techniques. The audience warmly welcomed the guest speaker and had the chance to follow his analysis and pose relevant questions after the speech, engaging in a constructive dialogue process.
