Prof. Petros Maragos, Acting Director of AthenaRC Robotics Institute and HERON Director, was invited as a Keynote Speaker at the 2025 Greeks-in-AI Symposium, Athens, Greece. His Keynote speech on the 20th July 2025, entitled "Robot Perception and Multimodal AI”, was attended by conference participants with physical and remote presence. In this symposium, there were also several research works in robotics and AI presented by the following researchers affiliated with HERON and the Robotics Institute of Athena RC: Niki Efthimiou, Panagiotis Filntisis, Konstantinos Fotopoulos, Christos Garoufis, Orestis Konstantaropoulos, Argyris Manetas, Athanasios Mastrogeorgiou, Katerina Papadimitriou, Katerina Smyrli, Konstantinos Spathis, Alexandros Dimitriadis, and Stylianos Zarifis.
