The project titled “Dynamic Management and Spatial Representation of Social and Demographic Data" refers to the organization, management and map representation of socio-demographic data collected from Greek Population Census 2011, so as to make it easily accessible and immediately usable by a large number of non-expert users. It aims first and foremost to exploit the vast wealth of information contained in the Population - Residential Census in a way to make this wealth potential resource for research and educational objectives, for documenting policies and business planning.
IMIS will undertake the design of the methodology and the development of mechanism for publishing census and in general socio-demographic data in the form of Open Linked Data (LOD).
