On Monday and Tuesday, October 14-15, the European Research Consortium for Informatics and Mathematics (ERCIM) will host its annual forum titled "Beyond Compliance - Research Ethics in the Digital Age." The forum aims to explore ethical issues in research beyond mere compliance with regulations and laws. Organized by the Digital Ethics Task Group of ERCIM, this year's discussions will focus on topics such as the regulation creation process, collaborative agents, cultural influences on research, and the impact of technology on democracy. Additionally, a tutorial titled "Training in AI Ethics" will be offered.
