Artificial Intelligence (AI) is one of the most exciting and transformative technologies of our time. It refers to machines' ability to mimic human cognitive functions such as learning, reasoning, and decision-making. AI is already part of everyday life, from digital assistants and smart devices to automated systems. It supports data analysis and personalized care in healthcare, improves efficiency and strategy in business, and enhances tailored learning in education.
At the same time, AI raises important ethical and social concerns: privacy, safety, and fairness among them. As its influence grows, responsible development and regulation are essential to ensure it serves humanity’s best interests.
The ARCHIMEDES Unit of the Athena Research Center, the Friends of Methoni Castle Association, and the Region of Peloponnese are co-organizing "AI- Dialogues", a two-part event exploring the latest advancements and emerging questions around AI. Topics will include the history and capabilities of AI, its applications in medicine and biology, ethical challenges, regulatory frameworks, and environmental impacts.
Join us to learn more about AI and take part in an engaging exchange with leading experts.
