The objective of the project is the design, development and maintenance of a software application based on an “intelligent” retrieval mechanism developed by ILSP. The software application aims at the presentation and promotion of the technological services offered by the laboratories of the National Technical University of Athens. The software application is based on multimedia, database and information retrieval technologies. The software is accompanied by an installation program.
The content of the software encompasses the description of the:
- identity,
- profile,
- technical infrastructure,
- services,
- keywords,
- customers and
- human resources
Multimedia material such as video, sounds and images has been incorporated in the software application for the presentation of the activities, infrastructures and research results of the labs.
