On 2 September, Professor Phoebe Koundouri attended the launch event of the World Bank Report "Reboot Development: The Economics of a Livable Planet" at the Oxford Martin School, University of Oxford.
She served on the panel alongside Professor Johan Rockström, Professor Robin Burgess, and Professor Amy Dickman, chaired by Professor Jim Hall, following the presentation by Richard Damania (World Bank).
Professor Koundouri’s discussion focused on redesigning economic systems for a livable world, emphasizing the integration of sustainability and resilience into decision-making, and addressing climate risks, biodiversity loss, and the equitable green transition.
