The innovative technologies of "Athena" RC's research teams came one step closer to business and industry at a networking event organized by "Athena" RC's Technology Transfer Office and EY Greece, on December 2nd, at EY premises.
Research teams of "Athena" RC presented mature technologies and their practical applications to challenges and real problems to the heads of departments utilizing corresponding technologies of EY Greece.
The main focus was at the health sector, the environment, digital applications in culture and the blue economy; results of intensive research which are now very close to put on the market were also presented.
The researchers of "Athena" RC listened very carefully to the arguments of EY executives on the needs of the market and businesses and had the opportunity to share their concerns with a strong group.
At the end of the event there was an interesting discussion on the next steps and the possibilities of linking research results and products with industry, focusing on the commercial application of the technologies presented.
