Government visit in Industrial Systems Institute / "Athena" RC
Focus in Cybersecurity, Autonomous Vehicles and Smart Transportation

On Nov 22, 2022 the Industrial Systems Institute / "Athena" RC was visited by a group of government officials. The Institute premises at the Patras Science Park welcomed Nikos Papathanasis, Deputy Minister of Development and Investments, Apostolos Vesyropoulos, State Secretary of Finance, Athanasios Kyriazis, General Secretary of Research and Innovation, Sotiris Anagnostopoulos, General Secretary for Commerce and Consumer Protection, and Giorgos Zervos, Special Secretary for the Management of ERDF and Cohesion Fund Programmes.
The visit provided a good opportunity for the presentation of the research effort of the Institute and its application in a number of domains including Manufacturing, Smart Cities, Energy Efficient Buildings, Cybersecurity, Autonomous Vehicles and Smart Transportation and Mobility.
