"Athena" Research Center is a dynamic and constantly developing body where the people are cosidered as the most valuable asset. To further reinforce the team, during the last few years, Athena RC invested in highly qualified collaborators with innovative research goals and novel ideas.

Our new researchers in numbers: 19 new researchers with international experience, publications with a top H index 43 and an average 19, 1500+ publications, 15+ international awards and distinctions, 55 patents, 23 projects with a total budget of over 5.5 million euros, 5 business efforts.

On May 6th, 2022, a hybrid welcome event to meet the new researchers and the rest of the staff took place at the premises of "Athena" RC in Maroussi. After two years of mostly online meetings, this physical presence event marked a new era for the Research Center, launching a series of events dedicated to human resources, which will follow in the coming months.
 

During the event, the researchers introduced themselves to their colleagues, discussed with them and laid the foundations for new collaborations, inventing the future, together.
